The Slim Line is a simple meal of a burger patty, peach half, cottage cheese, and melba toast + breadsticks. The flame grilled patty was unbelievably delicious, perfectly cooked top quality meat. What a treat. And the service was excellent.

Classic diner interior but very clean with well maintained tables, floors, and bathrooms. Solid food for the speed it comes out and the 24/7 hours. My water glass was kept full every 2-3 minutes.

The Good: Food, Portions, Vibe The Bad: Prices The Ugly: Service Fee? We went to this place twice because it was close to our hotel and it fit in with our schedule. Both times the food was good and the service was efficient. The first time we had pancakes and two eggs scrambled with potatoes. The second time I went for the omelet with potatoes. the prices was around $57 all in both times including a large orange juice which seems a little expensive for breakfast food. I'm not sure what it is but they charged some $1.50 "service fee" which I should have asked what it is. I would probably go back if it is close to my hotel.

Of course I had to come here on my NY trip. It's tradition. I have been coming here for over 10 years with my dad. So I brought my best friend with me on this trip and she loved it so much we went twice on this trip so far. I got a margarita, my usual chicken soup. I tried a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp! It was really flavorful and came with tomatoes.

I had lunch with 2 co-workers here today. I was happy that we were seated in a booth to add to that old school diner appeal. Service was attentive and efficient. The menu options were plentiful. The prices were a bit high for diner food but they are Manhattan prices after all. I ordered a feta and spinach omelette with home fries. Surprisingly it was not greasy but it lacked enough flavor so I added some salt and pepper and all was good. Regardless though, i just love diners and this area definitely benefits from having this one.
